Helen Scott

Project Coordinator
Helen has worked for many years in the ECC coordinating sustainable living programs for small to medium sized ethno specific business and householders. The success of these projects led to the ECC receiving the NSW Government Green Globe Awards. 
She brought her passion for community development to the Environment Protection Authority as an educator coordinating their Aboriginal and multicultural education programs. Until recently, at the ECC, she worked as an advocate for CALD consumers nationally and has just completed research into CALD consumers issues and concerns about energy. She represents CALD consumers on government and energy industry consultative and reference groups.
She brings learnings from working in community welfare and vocational and tertiary education sectors as well as from her education in Science (USyd), MA (hons) in History and Philosophy of Science (UoW) and Grad Dip in Environmental Management (CSU).
