Lifting restrictions in NSW from 1st June

NSW COVID-19 Public Health Laws and Police Powers

Domestic and family violence factsheet in languages

 Domestic and family violence includes   behaviour or threats that aim to control a male or female partner by causing fear or threatening their safety.
 
These fact sheets from the Australian Government, Department of Social Services in 46 languages provide information on what domestic and family violence can include as well as contact details for culturally sensitive services in Australia.

Emergency Relief for Migrants

african migrants in melbourne, australia Stock Photo: 15594199 - AlamyThe waiting periods for newly arrived migrants to access social security payments have temporarily been waived, meaning that they can access various safety net payments including the COVID-19 supplement.

Office for Women advises that anyone who is unable to pay their bills or is at imminent risk of not being able to pay their bills can access Emergency Relief regardless of their visa status.
