Ethnic Communities' Council of NSW honours the life of Malcolm Fraser

Vale Malcolm Fraser.

We commemorate the passing of Malcolm Fraser and honour the life and achievements of this champion of Multiculturalism. Throughout his esteemed life, Mr Fraser was true to core values as an authentic advocate of Multiculturalism who stood firm in his views of Australia as a pluralistic, inclusive and open society.

He is credited directly with the integration of refugees from Vietnam, the establishment of the Special Broadcasting Service and most importantly for the Ethnic Communities' Council, the continuing of the Whitlam policies of Multiculturalism.

Our sister ECC in Victoria had the privilege of Mr Fraser acting as their Patron for some time.

We offer his family our deepest condolences and honour the memory of a true champion for Australia as an open and inclusive society.

Peter Doukas, Chair ECCNSW.
